CAN YOU ACCOMODATE LARGE BRIDAL PARTIES?

If  your bridal party is too large for me to manage alone or you need to be ready early.  Don't panic, I would be accompanied by a fully qualified artist.  Please discuss this with me at the trial or at any point thereafter also please note this would be at no extra charge.

WHAT MAKEUP BRANDS DO YOU USE?

I use a variety of different brands in my kit as there are so many great quality products out there.  Some of the brands I include are:-  Laura Mercier, Charlotte Tilbury, MAC, NARS, Huda Beauty, Too Faced, Inglot, Kiehls, Urban Decay, just to name a few.  I absolutely love looking for new products to put in my kit and I pride myself on having an extensive knowledge of products.  I always try new products thoroughly before adding them to my kit so I know exactly what works best.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AT THE TRIAL?

With regards to booking a date for your trial I suggest it should be roughly 6 - 12 weeks before the day.  Prior to this date we need to discuss a suitable time, your chosen location, cost and if you have any allergies / skin conditions I would need to be aware of.  Also, for me to be fully prepared I would need you to gather a few images of what styles you have in mind and please send them to me.

Please note if you are wanting to use hair extensions to create a fuller up-do or just to add some more length then please could you have them at your trial.  This is not essential but it will give you a better idea of what it would look like on the day.  Also if you have any hair accessories like a vine, flowers, headpieces or a veil please have them at the trial,  as again, this will give you a better idea of what it will look like on the big day.

On the day of the trial we will look at your images to discuss the different styles.  I would then give you my professional opinion on how we could achieve or tweak the look to suit each individual person.  I also like to have a look at your current makeup bag, this gives me an idea of what products you like and what tones you like using.

A hair and makeup trial will take 2 hours or until you are fully happy and confident with the final look.  I take pictures of the finished look and use them for reference.  I also take notes of all the products I have used and what we have discussed so I can replicate the finished look exactly on your wedding day.  I can also give you names of the products I have used, so you may wish to purchase if you choose to top anything up during the day, for example, lipstick.

DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING PRIOR TO THE WEDDING DAY?

I email you to confirm numbers so that your invoice is all up to date a week before the wedding day.  The final payment can be paid anytime from this point but no later than the day before.

So the morning can run as smoothly as possible I will go through a timing schedule with you.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT ON THE WEDDING DAY?

I will always start with hair first to ensure your makeup stays as fresh as possible.  Some timing schedules however don't always allow this but top ups will be done at the end to ensure everything is still perfect.

I will get  you ready 1 hour before your ceremony unless previously arranged for an  earlier time.  This way will enable you to have enough time for photographs with your bridal party, get in your dress and allow a little time to yourself.

I am more than happy to help you into your dress if you would like to do a big reveal for everyone.  I would then fix in your veil and make any minor adjustments to anything that is required.  I can also be there right up until the last minute if you so choose.
